About the Role
Build indoor mapping solutions for Indian airports. Create 3D maps, analyze spatial data, and develop geospatial intelligence products for airports and travelers navigating terminals.
Responsibilities
- Create indoor maps for Indian airports using QGIS and ArcGIS
- Develop 3D map visualizations for terminal navigation
- Analyze spatial data for passenger flow and congestion
- Process and visualize ADS-B flight tracking data
- Build geospatial databases and maintain map data
- Create custom map styles and visualizations
- Collaborate with product team on mapping features
- Ensure map accuracy and data quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or related field
- Proficiency in QGIS or ArcGIS (mandatory)
- Understanding of spatial analysis and cartography
- Experience with map creation and data visualization
- Knowledge of coordinate systems and projections
- Basic programming skills (Python for GIS)
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
Nice to Have
- MBA or business analytics background
- Experience with indoor mapping technologies
- 3D modeling and visualization skills (Blender, SketchUp)
- Web mapping experience (Leaflet, Mapbox)
- Knowledge of spatial databases (PostGIS)
- Experience with drone mapping or photogrammetry
- Understanding of aviation or airport operations
- CAD software experience
