Data Analyst

About the Role

As a Data Analyst at AeroLytics, you will derive actionable insights from complex aviation datasets. Your analysis will directly influence airport operations, airline strategy, and the overall passenger experience across India.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets (ADS-B, terminal flow, environmental data)
• Build interactive dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and anomalies
• Support AI/ML engineers with data cleaning and feature discovery
• Automate data collection and reporting workflows
• Collaborate with product teams to define key performance metrics
• Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for executive leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related field
• Proficiency in SQL (mandatory) and Python/R
• Hands-on experience with data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker)
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex data to non-techies
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Experience with spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of GIS or spatial data analysis
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Understanding of aviation metrics and terminal operations
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
• Background in business analytics or economic modeling
